The Cavalry Youth Academy program serves as a developmental bridge between recreational soccer in Bryan/College Station and the Cavalry Competitive program.
What is Youth Academy?
A soccer program for boys in Bryan/College Station born 2009-2011 that offers two training sessions and one game per week. Players participate in the Fall and Spring seasons. Players are placed on teams based on age and ability. Our experienced, licensed coaches conduct training sessions coach games. Youth Academy players do not tryout, so please do not register for tryouts.
When and where are training sessions and games?
The Fall season is mid Sep - mid Nov. (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
The Spring season is late Jan - late Apr (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Players will have holiday breaks similar to the school calendars.
Training sessions and games are in College Station, generally Veterans Park.
What do I need to bring to trainings?
Shin guards and soccer cleats are mandatory. Players also need to bring a soccer ball and water.
What are the training sessions like?
Training sessions are led by our Youth Academy Director, and supplemented by our professional staff coaches. Youth Academy curriculum emphasizes:
- technical training (ball mastery)
- 1v1, 2v1, 3v2 - to goal situations
- possession and finishing games with progression to a 7v7 match

What is included?
A year long program with seasons in the Fall and Spring. Each season will have multiple competitive 4v4 and 7v7 games. The fee covers Fall and Spring enrollment into the Youth Academy Training Program, League Games and Uniform
